here they are...
Ariana and Matt of San Diego, California.
These high-school sweethearts have been working at their blossoming love for nine years now! (WOW!) They are focused on their careers, each other, and on making this planet a better place for everyone. Matt cares about the environment and is a familiar face among San Diego city parks, while Ariana loves kids and is working to become a family and child advocate. They are hoping to put the icing on the cake with a wedding at the Hidden Valley.

ReplyDeleteAri and Matt have been a wonderful couple since their first date when Ari was just freshman at El cap and Matt was a senior there in High School. You wouldnt believe how much they care about all people no matter what their situations might be.

From:Grama Steck-Lots of great things being said,but no one has told of Ari's skills as a "yard cop" since abut age six. This skill carrieds over into elementary school as top crossing gard/lieutant and into high school and of course into the job-still helping people solve problems/crimes. Yes, she and likeable/able/persistant/responsible Matt deserve this wedding and I want to be on the front row to see these grandchildren have a ball, besides Ari and I share a birthday.

This is the perfect gift to two people who are and will make a big difference in our future and anyone else's lives they may touch. Matt's gifts with mother nature and Ari's gifts of helping children are not comparable to anyone else.

ReplyDeleteAs the mother of Ariana I am very proud of her for the woman she has become. Matt and Ariana have been together for 9 years and have waited to get married until they were stable enough and mature enough to handle marriage and the responsibilities that go along with it. They are supportive of each other in all that they do. I already love Matt like my own son. It has been a pleasure to watch these two grown into the adults they are today and I can't wait to continue to watch them grow as husband and wife.

A beautiful ceremony surrounded by nature, family, and friends is something they have always envisioned and this wedding seems to offer all they have ever wanted. Both are hard workers at their jobs, but also school. Ariana's mother is a good friend of mine and I know it would make her happy to see her youngest daughter have the wedding she deserves.

ReplyDeleteI love Matt and Ari together. One is always helping the other out. They care for their many dogs with such compassion. They have so much talent and ambition. They're the kind of people you want in your circle of friends. I'll miss having my son, Matt, make rattlesnake catchers in my living room, but I'll be proud when he and Ari get married. ReplyDeleteAriana has worked very hard to complete her Master's degree in Sociological Practice in order to better society by advocating for children. Matt is working hard to complete his degree in the sciences while continuing to work to help preserve our environment in local parks. They both have spent a lot of time and money paying for their education in order to work in underpaying fields helping others. Ariana and Matt are always doing good for other people they deserve to have good done to them. Wining this dream wedding would do just that. I have known them both for a long time and I guarantee that if Ariana and Matt won this contest they would continue to pay it forward by helping others like this would help them.

Although I have never met Matt, Ariana's descriptions of him and his character assures me that he is one of a kind, a perfect fit for her. Knowing her hard working nature and giving heart, I couldn't imagine someone deserving a wonderful wedding more than her.

ReplyDeleteThese two are San Diego natives and want to get married in the place they grew up and the place where their family is. I know that if they win this contest Ariana and Matt, and especially Ariana’s sisters (love you girls but you know how it is!), will spread the word about Hidden Valley and all of the other generous vendors. An earlier post stated they will “pay it forward” and I have no doubt they will pay the gift of compassion forward but also the gift of word of mouth marketing.

No matter what they do, whether it be bike rides through Balboa Park or Mission Beach, playing rock band with the family, geocaching and letter boxing in the county, hiking, or even just lounging around, they make the best of it. Yes, they are hard working but they also know how to have fun. I think they deserve to win this because they do work hard and have fun despite the challenges they may face and have faced in life.
