The Green Chamber of Commerce series

As you know, Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa is committed to being a green venue. We work hard to have environmentally-friendly practices at the Retreat. We've joined the Green Chamber of Commerce, a community dedicated to helping green businesses succeed. They've recently been working on a YouTube series of green businesses, and we were lucky enough to be featured on it! Fiona had a chance to talk about all of our green practices while they filmed beautiful shots of our property!

Beautiful Day Lilies

Every once in a while you have to stop to smell the roses. In this case I was hiking around Hippocrates circle and saw these beautiful day lilies. There are many blooming on the property now but these caught my eye and I had to take a picture.

Earthday 2010

We are all very excited at Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa because we will be exhibiting at the annual Earth Fair at Balboa Park! This is a great accomplishment for us because we pride ourselves in being a green venue. It also represents a big opportunity to promote the Hidden Valley to this environmentally aware group of people. The Earth Fair draws around 70,000 visitors that enjoy art galleries, a parade, special themed areas, great food and activities for the kids and so much more.

We invite you to come and join us during this wonderful celebration. The fair will be held this Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will be waiting for you at booth# 1055 in front of the Art Museum. We will have beautiful pictures of the property and all our staff talking to everyone about what a great venue Hidden Valley is for their next retreat. Bring your whole family and friends and spend a unique day cruising around the exhibition booths, entertainment areas and food courts.
